Lori M. Sandler, Ed.S.
Lori holds M.Ed and Ed.S. in Educational/School Psychology, and has recently received a Director of Special Education endorsement. She started her career in education working in alternative therapeutic day schools supporting students with significant behavior and social emotional needs. She transitioned into the general education public school setting where she has worked at three different north suburban school districts in both Lake and Cook counties since 2007.
In 2017, Lori found herself on the parent end of her career when her son was diagnosed with Dyslexia, ADHD, and an expressive language disorder. Due to her professional experience, she was able to identify and advocate for her son’s educational needs. She has worked collaboratively as part of Section 504 and IEP teams in both professional and personal capacities for over 20 years.
Lori is “a phenomenal bridge for school/home connections”
